A seat mount is primarily a safety-related component and Speed Engineering have designed this side mount set for the Recaro Pole Position seat as such. Breakouts and the shape of the components are not chosen arbitrarily, but are based on the results of calculations and simulations of the stress curves in the loaded state.

Each Speed Engineering seat component have been subjected to an FEM simulation in order to ensure safety first and consequently to optimize the weight.

With this solution it is possible to mount a Recaro Pole Position on the original rail of a manual slider rail track from the BMW F-Series (and possibly other models).

This seat attachment is designed in such a way that it is screwed on with 4 screws like the original seat, whereby you can also continue to use the original screw connection. Careful centering in front of the steering wheel ensures that your pole position is not positioned off-centre. Only the seat height is a variable that is up to you. The double row of holes allowed us to refine the scaling of the height.

With this system, there is no need for an additional seat console and you benefit from the rigidity of the OEM running rail from BMW. 

This seat side mount set is suitable for use with Recaro Pole Position seats in conjunction with the OEM manual adjustment slider rails on the driver's and passenger side of the vehicle. The OEM rails are not included in the scope of delivery.
