PERFORMANCE OVERVIEW
This kit eliminates bottlenecks in the factory air intake system. The factory airbox supports power levels up to 500 hp, but the airbox lid and ducting to the turbo inlet are restrictive at higher power levels. The do88 design features a one-piece moulded upper airbox lid with an 80 mm (3 1/8") intake duct with smooth transitions to reduce turbulence and restrictions before the turbo inlet.
The result is a clean, near-factory-look intake system that supports high power levels up to 500 hp with 100% bolt-on installation and no car modifications required.
AIRFLOW PERFORMANCE
The complete do88 intake system with BMC airfilter and do88 turbo inlet pipe delivers 44% better airflow than the factory setup, verified on a SuperFlow SF-1020 flow bench.
COLD AIR ADVANTAGE
The system is engineered to improve flow and lower negative pressure while drawing only cold air. Many aftermarket intakes draw hot air from the engine bay, resulting in higher intake air temperature and power loss. The do88 system retains factory fresh air ducting for genuine cold air intake performance.
COMPATIBILITY & OPTIONS
The system fits cars with and without secondary air injection (SAI) ports in the airbox lid.
Air Filter: Choose between an upgraded BMC high-flow panel filter or no filter.
Turbo Inlet Pipe: Select with the do88 3" (76 mm) inlet pipe, OEM 2.75" (70 mm) fit, or do88 3" (76 mm) configuration. The do88 intake and inlet pipe are matched for optimal uniform flow.
Hose Colour: Available in Blue, Black, or Red – no performance difference; choose to suit your vehicle aesthetics.
